the technician lifestyle has pervaded into my tumultuous dreams. i dreamt that i was telling this guy i could fix that hose

i wake up, switch on the bedside light, go behind my computer, touch the wires, and contemplate pulling one out. i get a rude snap back to reality and go back to bed, thinking:
